Last Wednesday, June 5, Chestnut Tree House held their 10th Birthday Luncheon at Sedgwick Park House.

The charity which supports nearly 300 children and their families all over East Sussex, West Sussex, and South East Hampshire invited guests to enjoy the gardens and listen to speakers.

Food was provided by Carmela restaurant in Horsham.

Jayne Todd, Community Fundraiser for Chestnut Tree House, said: “I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone that came to Sedgwick Park House this week for our 10th birthday luncheon.

“It was a fantastic morning and enjoyed at such a beautiful venue. Thank you to Claire and John Davison for allowing us to invite our guests to their outstanding home and for guaranteeing us such glorious sunshine to enjoy the gardens.

“I would also like to thank Lee Nash, a Chestnut Tree House parent who spoke at the luncheon about his experiences of the hospice with his son Toby. We hope that all who attended enjoyed hearing about Chestnut Tree House and we look forward to further building the relationship with the Horsham community.”

Guests were also shown a short film, detailing the work the charity do on a day to day basis with the children in their care.
